• Squads for all 24 FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017 teams revealed
  • More than 500 players named
  • Tournament kicks off on 20 May

The 504 players who will represent their nations at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017 have been announced, as the 20 May kick off creeps ever closer.

With all 24 teams well into their preparations ahead of the action getting underway, fans across the world can now discover who will be trying to emulate the likes of Xavi, Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba by going from the U-20 World Cup to the pinnacle of the game.

Unsurprisingly, the squads are littered with shining stars from qualifying. The top scorers from all six continents will be arriving with freshly polished shooting boots, including the likes of Paris Saint-Germain’s Jean-Kevin Augustin who will be leading the line for France, and New Zealand 2015 graduate Rodrigo Amaral of Uruguay.

Just because this is a youth tournament, it does not mean there will be a lack of experience on the global stage across the Korean peninsula. New Zealand and Venezuela alone will be bringing five and four full internationals respectively, with La Vinotinto’s Adalberto Penaranda having already featured 12 times for the senior side.

And with the likes of highly-rated USA defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, South African winger Luther Singh and Uruguay’s impressive midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur gearing up for the tournament, there are selections brimming with talent everywhere you look.
