Felix Sanchez, Qatar coach
In the first half we did quite well, considering we were playing a team that are stronger than we are. We felt pretty comfortable at preventing their counter-attacks. In the second half the game became more physical and we couldn't feel comfortable or get our passing going. When they scored the second goal it was game over. I think that we had positive moments over the three games but, for some of our players, this level is still too high. We need to keep working hard.

It was a very difficult match. Both teams wanted to win and a draw was no good for either side. Before the game we knew that even by taking three points it'd very difficult to qualify, so we handled the situation we were in very well. The penalty gave us a big shock and we tried to level the game too quickly, which is not the way we should have gone about it. Our game is more about getting the ball on the floor. We had a very intense discussion at the interval and come the second half I saw that we were losing a lot of balls out on the left flank. So I made some changes and they led to us scoring our two goals.
