One month ago today, 20 of the world’s best virtual footballers were in Munich for the 11th edition of the FIFA Interactive World Cup – the largest gaming tournament in the world which, every year, sets out to find the world’s best EA SPORTS™ FIFA player. For FIWC 2015 that honour belongs to Abdulaziz Alshehri, who secured Saudi Arabia their first-ever virtual world cup in front of a packed crowd at Munich’s Volkstheater.
To celebrate the most recent Grand Final, held in the home of the reigning FIFA World Cup champions from 17 to 19 May, the FIFA Interactive World Cup on Facebook is giving away football prizes signed by Grand Final guests David Alaba (Bayern Munich, Austria) and Christoph Kramer (Bayer Leverkusen, Germany). We have Bayern Munich jerseys signed by the No. 27 and Germany national team jerseys signed by the World Cup winning Kramer, although the defensive midfielder admitted to FIFA.com that he does not remember a minute of the World Cup Final (read our exclusive interview with Kramer).
Starting next Friday, for the next four weeks, all of our FIWC Facebook fans will have the chance to win some signed prizes from Munich 2015. To enter our FIWC Fridays contests: (1) Make sure you like the FIWC Facebook page, (2) pay special attention to our Friday posts from 26 June to 17 July and (3) follow the instructions in our Friday contest posts on Facebook.
